Personal + Blog Updates

Hey guys! So I promised an update blog post since I’ve been gone for a little while. There isn’t much but there are some things that has happened since the last time I blogged.

So to begin off with, my boyfriend and I have officially broken up. We broke up on the 9th of November. Things had happened the day before and instead of talking it over he decided it was best for us to break up. But me, being the person that I am, asked for him back on the 12th of November. But things just didn’t work out after we got back together so we’re officially broken up on the 27th of November. It is hard trying to move on. It’s like that person is the person you alwaysed talked with and loved, but all of a suddenly they’re gone the very next day. We dated for almost a year, our anniversary date is December 8th, and we almost made it. I do have second thoughts about this break-up, like are we done-done or are we done-for-now kind of thing. I know many of you guys don’t know what type of relationship we had so you guys don’t know many of the reasons, but it was hard when only one person (which is me) is trying to keep the relationship together. But I guess it was best for us to break up and move on from our relationship.

Hmong New Year recently passed and it was on the 29th of November through the 1st of December. Decos for the Hmong New Year literally took away most of my free time, and that’s basically the reason why I haven’t been able to post. HLC is always in charge of Hmong New Year decos and this year HSO (Hmong Student O, Hmong community club at South High) helped work with us on the mural and decorations. It was fun and I had a really great time doing decorations with South people, since we barely ever get to see them. They’re really great people and I made a lot of friends through the months of October and November.

Dance dance dance! I don’t know if many of you guys know but I am a dancer. I have a passion in dancing but it’s not something I want to do as my career, but it’s more of a hobby I love and enjoy doing. So recently (literally at the beginning of November) my friends (Kayla, Diary, Fancy, Marly, Amber) decided that we were going to Hmong dance for the Hmong New Year. It was very last minute and we had last than one month to find a song, come up with a choreography and perfecting it. Our first performance, I have to admit, was horrible! But I enjoyed it because we all had a great time and we all felt good about ourselves. We definitely are continuing to dance because we all have gotten closer together and it’s something we all did enjoy doing.

More dancing? So I am in two dance groups, one mainly for Hmong dancing and one for hip-hop. So my hip-hop group name is Diadem (consists of: Jamie, Selena, Lucy, Sammie, Shouacua, and Nikkin) has started practice. Which has also taken away some of my freetime. Like I said, dancing is something I enjoy doing and I love it. We’re going to start fundraising for our group and I would really love and appreciate if my followers/readers are willingly to help us out by donating and buying our items. We’re planning to sell a variety of things, but the main thing we are working on is Diadem T-shirts. I might make another post relating to the t-shirt orders but I would really appreciate if you guys can help with our dance group. Many of you guys might be thinking why we need money but it basically is going for our clothing items and since I am part of my school’s fundraising club, some money would be donated into the club as well.

Notice anything different about my theme? There isn’t much changes but I did change my logo header and the navigation buttons. At first the font Arial look good as the header font but after awhile, I was like, “No, it’s way too boring.” so I changed it. And instead of having wings, I used a flower. I replace the ‘a’ in ‘yuufairy’ with the flower. I like it but I wonder what you guys think about it. Can you guys read the texts properly though?
